The first stilwerk opened in April 1996 in Hamburg’s harbour area to immediate success, bringing together 28 individual retailers over a total sales area of 11,000 square metres. stilwerk Berlin opened at the corner of Kantstrasse/Uhlandstrasse in November 1999, and currently comprises 52 retailers in a total area of 20,000 square metres. The third stilwerk site opened in February 2000 on Düsseldorf’s Grünstrasse, intersecting the city’s prestigious Königsallee. Here 42 premium retailers present their products on a total sales floor of 17,000 square metres. Further national and international locations are in the planning stage. stilwerk Vienna, located next to the Donau river, has just opened on 6,000 square metres with 28 retailers presenting their premium quality products.

The stilwerk magazine no. 10 is available at the stilwerk branches in Hamburg, Berlin, Düsseldorf and Wien from the beginning of Oktober.

The stilwerk lifestyle is now available as an audio experience; the first stilwerk CD series was launched in 2007 and is available from stilwerk reception desks and general retailers. Customers can now enjoy the chilled “sounds like stilwerk“ lounge sounds in the comfort of their own home.
